Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Programs

Our Substance Use Disorder program provides a continuum of intensive outpatient care designed to meet you exactly where you are on your path to recovery. We offer three distinct phases of treatment to match your unique clinical needs:

Phase 1: Standard Outpatient Program (OP)

Designed as a continuing care model, our standard outpatient program is tailored for individuals who have already achieved early stability in recovery—whether through our own programs or another treatment facility.

  • Ongoing Support: This phase emphasizes long-term maintenance and connection, featuring group sessions held 3 to 5 times a week for 1 hour per session.

Phase 2: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers a balance of robust medical and psychological support with a flexible schedule, allowing you to maintain daily responsibilities like working or caring for family.

  • Flexible Schedule: Treatment takes place during scheduled visits to our facility (or a partner hospital of your choice) for counseling, therapy, and relapse prevention skills.

  • Program Structure: Sessions begin with daily meetings lasting 2.5 to 3 hours each, combining group therapy and education. As you stabilize, care gradually tapers from four sessions a week down to three.

  • Time Commitment: IOP typically averages about 9 hours per week divided across four adaptable sessions. Because you live at home, the overall duration of the program may be longer than inpatient care, but clinical studies prove it is equally effective when properly followed.

  • The Power of Peers: Alongside individual therapy, group sessions provide a vital network of peers sharing similar experiences, reducing isolation and offering valuable shared insights.

Is IOP Right for You?

IOP is highly recommended for individuals with mild-to-moderate addiction who have safely navigated acute withdrawal and do not require 24/7 monitoring. It is ideal for those ready to step back into their normal routines.

Please note: IOP is not recommended if you are returning to a living environment that triggers cravings, are exposed to people who encourage substance use, or lack reliable transportation to the facility. In those cases, a higher level of care is a safer choice.

Phase 3: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

A Partial Hospitalization Program serves as a vital bridge between residential treatment and outpatient life. It offers the high-level structure and medical access of a residential rehab, but allows you to live offsite in your own accommodations.

  • Structured Intensity: PHP typically requires 5 visits per week, with daily sessions lasting anywhere from 4 to 8 hours depending on your medical needs.

  • Comprehensive Care: This phase blends intensive psychiatric and medical attention with holistic wellness activities to support both your physical and mental health during a highly vulnerable stage of transition.

  • Relapse Prevention: Stepping straight from 24/7 residential care into total freedom can increase the risk of relapse. PHP provides the daily accountability and structure needed to adjust safely back into the outside world.

Is PHP Right for You?

PHP offers close monitoring by medical staff and is the ideal choice if you:

  • Have completed residential rehab but still face a high risk of relapse.

  • Have experienced severe addiction or recent overdoses and struggle to manage intense cravings.

  • Are still experiencing mild withdrawal symptoms and require continued medical detoxification support.

Transitional Housing Support

We recognize that true recovery requires a stable foundation. While OP, IOP, and PHP are outpatient services, we understand that some clients may lack the immediate means to secure independent housing or employment. To ensure no one has to choose between treatment and shelter, we provide supportive housing to help transition clients safely toward independent living while they participate in our programs.
